bandolero999: Haywire was directed by the director of Traffic and Ocean Eleven movies.He is good at dramas but not action movies.Gina Carano's first leading role and she's a fighter not an actress.Even her voice was changed cause she sounded too manly.If you saw the trailer that was all the fights she had.Not even worthy opponents.So her skill was underused.Extremely slow paced.They tried to make it an action drama with a simple plot and it really bored the audience.There were a lot of great supporting actors like Douglas,Bill Paxton,even Banderas,and Magneto guy but they coudnt even save the movie.Channing Tatum fans will be dissapointed because his character dies.
The girls and gun genre was only perfected by the Asian action movie industry with actresses like Michelle Yeoh,Moon Lee,Yukari Oshima, Cynthia Khan,Cynthia Rothrock.Would recomend Iron Angels,Raging Phoenix,Blonde Fury,Righting Wrongs,Chocolate,Coweb. |
