Catherine: A very touching portrayal of a man who feels very very alone in a crowded house surrounded by a warm and loving family. The movie is very real. Every single character means well and is a good human being, and yet Dan is alone. The more attention is lavished on him, the more uncomfortable his situation becomes. It is sometimes difficult to watch because it is so very realistic and his situation is so very painful. The only unrealistic part is probably the happy ending. |
