Please stop with the remakes already!!! February 13th, 2007 [10:04:44] | | 0/10 |
| ZombieNation: Hello!?!, we don't need another remake!!! Espeacially of such a great classic horror movie. Look, if you want to remake something, find some junky movie from the '70's that sucked and remake that. Hey, what a concept, make a bad movie better, not just remake a great movie for the sake of remaking it and pulling in profits off such an established franchise. I'm so sick of this rehashing crap. Is there anyone left with any originality inside them? Anyone? And if you're not going to make the movie somewhat similar to the original, don't use the stinkin same title, call it something different. You're deceiving true horror fans of the romero series. Everyone please stop, you shouldn't go see this movie, you should boycott it. Maybe then the studios stop remaking movies that are perfectly fine they were before and start coming up with something original. |
Day of the Dead April 9th, 2007 [8:43:56] | | 0/10 |
| phoenixdownfilms: uh... what is wrong with you people? If you're remaking a movie, even to the point of adopting the god damn name, then do just that... use the same storyline, but change the script if you must. this movie had nothing to do with the origional and shouldn't even have been called 'day of the dead'.
i can immediately tell that this is your basic run of the mill, lame hollywood/action movie, aka: the stuff shit uses to wipe its ass with. way to go, another lame hollywood box office "smash hit". the populous will gobble it up... which is very sad. i totally agree with zombienation, remakes should be for making bad movies better... not cashing in on classics... and i mean, suuuuuuure, it's just a moooovie, but god damnit, this is what i do... and i know i could make one sweet zombie flick with this sickening budget, especially if I got to remake the movie (hey, it's going to get done by someone, obviously... may as well do it right)... and the poster art... totally lame rip off of land of the dead. this is clearly a very uncreative group. |
