I will also respectfully disagree with you. To compare AVATAR to SW is kind of ridiculous. The story in SW is much more complex and simply better (even if the writing does not always live up to it in I-III). Although Woody Allen did have a large influence on the film industry, ... ( more)

Although I don't disagree with your arguments, that is not the worst oscar mistake. the year before in 1997 titanic cleans up...awful movie. simply terrible. Good Will Hunting should have won...but even this is not as bad as 1977
